Preorder Policy

Release Dates

Release dates are based on information provided by publishers, distributors and suppliers and may change.

We aim to dispatch preorders from the official Australian release date where stock has arrived and is available for release. Delivery on release day is not guaranteed.

Click & Collect customers must wait until they receive a Ready for pickup notification before visiting the store.

Customer Cancellations

Preorders may be cancelled for change of mind until 48 hours before the listed Australian release date.

Approved change-of-mind cancellations will be issued as Side Quest Cards store credit.

Store credit:

  • Does not expire
  • May be used online or in store
  • Is non-transferable
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash

Change-of-mind cancellations are not available within 48 hours of release.

This does not limit any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

Delays

Release dates may be delayed because of publisher changes, supplier delays, freight issues or other circumstances outside our control.

If a preorder is delayed by more than 30 days, or we cannot provide a reasonably reliable revised release date, you may request cancellation and a refund to your original payment method.

Allocation and Availability

Preorder stock may be subject to supplier allocation.

If we cannot supply the full quantity ordered:

  • Orders will generally be fulfilled in payment-date order
  • Reasonable quantity limits may be applied
  • Any quantity we cannot supply will be refunded to the original payment method

If a product is cancelled or we are unable to supply it within a reasonable time, affected customers will receive a refund.

Mixed Orders

Orders containing preorder and in-stock products will be held until every item is available.

Orders containing several preorders will normally be fulfilled after the final product arrives.

Please place separate orders if you would like available products dispatched or collected sooner.
