Gift Cards & Store Credit Policy

This policy applies to Side Quest Cards gift cards and store credit issued online or in store.

Gift Cards

Side Quest Cards gift cards:

  • Do not expire
  • May be used online and in store
  • May be used for products, preorders and event tickets
  • Cannot be used to purchase another gift card
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law
  • Do not attract inactivity, balance-checking or account fees

Any unused balance will remain available for future purchases.

Gift cards should be treated like cash. We may replace a lost, stolen or incorrectly delivered gift card where the original purchase and remaining balance can be verified.

Store Credit

Store credit may be issued following:

  • An eligible change-of-mind return
  • An approved preorder cancellation
  • An accepted buylist submission
  • A customer-service resolution
  • A promotion or other store offer

Store credit:

  • Does not expire
  • May be used online and in store
  • May be used for products, preorders and event tickets
  • Is non-transferable
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Cannot be used to purchase another gift card

Store credit may be issued as a Shopify gift card or an in-store customer account balance, depending on how it will be used.

Refunds for Purchases Made with Credit

Where a refund is approved for an order paid using a gift card or store credit, the refund will generally be returned to the same form of payment.

Where an order was paid using more than one payment method, any refund may be divided between those methods.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

Balance and Account Issues

Please contact us if you believe a gift-card or store-credit balance is incorrect.

We may request proof of purchase, account details or other information reasonably necessary to verify the balance and protect it from unauthorised use.
